Bedding Label Decoder

Read fiber percentages and familiar fabric phrases with a local glossary, while leaving unverified composition and certification claims unknown.

A recognized fiber breakdown, percentage-total checks, phrase definitions and evidence still needed.

Paste fabric wording only; omit names and personal information. Text stays in this page and is not saved or shared.

How this works

Deterministic phrase matching identifies microfiber, brushed wording, bamboo/rayon/viscose context, weave, count/mass branding and certification or performance wording. Supported percentage patterns include “60% cotton” and “cotton 60%”; overlapping spans count once. Recognized totals above 100% flag a likely input issue, below 100% are incomplete, and 100% verifies arithmetic only. Unknown fibers are not invented; their percentage statements remain flagged as unparsed. Separate shell/fill labels require separate interpretation. Microfiber describes fineness, not polymer composition, and brushed wording does not establish fiber or weave. FTC advice distinguishes processed bamboo rayon/viscose from the plant and requires evidence for claims. Every certification mention is a claim to verify with a current exact-product scheme record—even if wording is negated or expired. No status is inferred from a keyword. Pasted text is neither logged nor stored nor included in share URLs.

This is a bounded glossary, not complete legal compliance, certification or laboratory verification. Unknown phrases remain unknown.

Common questions

What does brushed microfiber mean on a sheet label?

Microfiber concerns fine fibers. Brushed is supplier surface-finish wording, not a cotton or polyester percentage. Obtain the actual composition label and do not infer a weave, GSM or cooling claim.

Does bamboo rayon count as natural bamboo fiber?

Do not equate them. FTC guidance distinguishes chemically processed rayon/viscose from actual bamboo plant fiber; plant-source marketing does not establish the finished fiber’s properties.

Why does my composition total exceed 100%?

There may be a typo, repeated text or separate shell/fill components. The tool flags the arithmetic rather than calling the product deceptive. Decode each separate component label independently.

Does a certification name prove the product is certified?

No. Obtain the scheme, certificate or license identifier, current validity and exact covered product. A keyword, logo or pasted claim cannot verify certification.

Can the decoder compare my label with Abeero Home?

It can explain the evidence boundary: reviewed exact listings describe microfiber construction, but current catalog composition percentages, measured GSM and certification are not established. It does not transfer another label’s claims to Abeero Home.

Will my pasted label be saved or shared?

No. It stays in this page’s transient answer state. Reset or leaving the page clears the entry; print is available only on your deliberate action.
