Wash-Together Checker
Compare two items’ confirmed care limits and color, lint, abrasion and bulk risks to make a conditional group or separate-load plan.
A group, exact conflicts and remaining unknowns; both items are checked independently.
How this works
Each item supplies wash permission, Celsius maximum or cold wording, and cycle. Both need complete machine instructions; hand-only and do-not-wash items are excluded. Numeric ceilings intersect at the lower value; cold wording remains nonnumeric. Normal/gentle/very-gentle intersect at the milder process, while conflicting permanent-press mappings require separate planning. Transfer, lint, abrasion or excessive bulk forces separation; unknown assessments withhold compatibility. Blanket/comforter bulk is separately planned. Risks are disclosed conservative sorting rules informed by Whirlpool guidance, not proof every towel sheds lint or every combined load damages sheets. Drying compatibility is outside this washing result.
Current confirmed manufacturer instructions override general care advice. Unknown permission remains unknown. No pathogen-removal or guaranteed fabric-performance claim.

Common questions
Can I wash microfiber sheets with cotton towels?
Only after comparing complete labels and checking lint, texture and load size. Cotton towels do not automatically pass or fail; flagged lint/abrasion/bulk risks require separate loads.
Is matching color enough?
No. Both items need a shared permitted method, temperature and process, plus assessed colorfastness, lint, friction and capacity.
How are two numeric maximum temperatures compared?
The lower Celsius maximum is the shared ceiling. It is not a cleaning target or guarantee both stains will come out.
What if one label says cold without a number?
Keep cold wording and respect the other label’s numeric ceiling. Confirm the washer’s actual cold behavior; no degree is guessed.
Does a wash-compatible result mean they can be dried together?
No. Drying permissions and appliance load behavior must be checked separately. Use the drying checker for each item.
