Rental Bedding Cost-per-Stay Calculator
Allocate entered linen costs across guest stays or use cycles, add separate laundry and labor, and explore replacement assumptions without promised lifespan or ROI.
Separate allocations, life sensitivity, included beds/sets and initial/replacement quantity planning.
How this works
Each non-overlapping cost group identifies beds, included sets, entered price and life basis. Guest-stay basis: linen allocation/stay = included sets × per-set price ÷ entered guest stays per replacement life. Linen-use basis: allocation/stay = price/set × beds × use cycles per bed/stay ÷ use cycles per set life, assuming even rotation. Care = entered laundry/stay (excluding labor) + labor minutes/stay × hourly rate/60. Do not add upfront purchase costs again to the amortized allocation. Two $40 sets allocated over 100 guest stays contribute $0.80/stay. With $6 laundry and 15 minutes labor at $20/hour, total = $0.80 + $6 + $5 = $11.80/stay. These are entered examples, not prices or promised rental economics. Half/double life changes only the linen allocation; stays are not nights.
No live prices, guaranteed lifespan, profitability or ROI. Budget allocation differs from cash-flow timing.

Abeero Home Bedding Tools · background
- Daily inventory ledger counts in-use plus unavailable laundry with explicit equal-time ordering and user reserves.
- Machine queue uses entered wash/dry times and transfer allowance; a dryer waits for washed loads and an available machine.
- Checklists compare actual sleeping arrangements, date-only visits and owned items.
- Nearest nominal mattress geometry is distinct from exact-variant verified sheet compatibility.
- Cost allocations separate linen, laundry and labor per entered guest stay or linen-use cycle.

Common questions
What should I budget per guest stay?
Enter every included bed/set group once, a replacement life basis and care/labor amounts. The result separately shows linen, laundry and labor per booking/visit.
Is a stay the same as a night?
No. A stay means one guest booking/visit. If linens change during longer stays, enter use cycles per bed/stay for cycle-based allocation.
How do I prevent double counting?
Use non-overlapping groups, include each purchase cost once, exclude labor from the laundry amount and do not add acquisition again to the amortized total.
What does lifespan sensitivity prove?
Nothing about actual durability. It illustrates half and double your entered life while holding laundry/labor fixed.
Are replacement quantities guaranteed?
No. Whole-batch projections use your life and even-rotation assumptions; condition can trigger a different schedule. Initial gaps are separate from future replacements.
