How this works

How much does washing and drying bedding cost each month? Per-cycle cost = washer kWh × electricity rate + dryer kWh × electricity rate + water volume × combined water/sewer rate + detergent + other entered cost. Water volume is converted explicitly: 1 US gallon = 3.785411784 L, 1 m³ = 1,000 L, 1 CCF = 100 ft³ = 2,831.6846592 L. Monthly = per load × loads per month; annual = monthly × 12. Each component must be entered or explicitly excluded; unknown costs are never treated as zero. No fixed saving is claimed for microfiber without your measured drying data.

Example values are illustrative, not measured or national averages.

Your rates and usage drive every figure.

No verified source is recorded for this claim yet.

Common questions

How much does washing and drying my bedding cost each month?

Enter your own per-cycle use and bill rates; the calculator multiplies cost per load by your loads.

Where do I find kWh per cycle?

Your manual or energy label, or a plug-in energy meter.

My water bill uses CCF — is that supported?

Yes. 1 CCF = 100 cubic feet ≈ 2,831.68 L.

Does microfiber cost less to dry?

No fixed saving is claimed; measure your own dryer energy.

What about a gas dryer?

Enter the electricity part and add gas under other cost.
